Imagine to adapt to changing times
When market conditions change, best tap into our imaginations to reshape our professional lives or our businesses. Whether it’s for a career change or to build longevity in a corporation, being adaptable has become a core skill we can access through imagination.
When we foster our imaginations, we grow the list of possibilities that we can ‘see’. Instead of seeing only one possible future, you might recognise two, maybe three or even four pathways to choose from. It’s so exciting when our dreams grow wider and the scope of possibilities goes far beyond the ‘here and now’ and into future shaping.
Imagination equips us with the skills to see change as an opportunity rather than a roadblock. And to problem solve and decision make in unique ways to seek out innovative solutions. It empowers us with a greater confidence and a resilience to discover new ideas and to chose which are worth exploring further. All these ideas are sourced from our imaginations, a wellspring for joy, hope, optimism and a strong foundation for life and work.
“Everything is changing so quickly,” said a friend recently. How true. But rather than be swept along, like a leaf in a wind, I choose imagination to gift me the skills I need. What about you? Your thoughts?
